Ten Ukrainian soldiers injured, explosion and ceasefire violations in Donbass

The office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported on Tuesday that ten soldiers were injured when a car of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit an unidentified explosive in the Donetsk Oblast in the east of the country.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Awdijiwka, Donetsk Oblast. The vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which rode over an unidentified explosive, rode last in the column - the prosecutor general's office specified. Medical aid was provided to the wounded. The investigation was initiated under an article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding a terrorist act.

According to the defence ministry, pro-Russian separatists violated the ceasefire eight times on Tuesday, and 11 times the day before. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in hostile fire on Monday.
